Curriculum
Saint Jude School is committed with parents in their children education. We offer a curriculum with contents that respond to the education of people aware of the challenges and needs in the current world.
Education is offered in several areas which include the environment, moral values, and co-curricular topics such as: education for peace, for health, for equal of opportunities to both genders, education for the consumer, and driving training, environmental education, and oral education among others. These core topics must be included in the different areas of the curriculum to be developed transversally, in a solid and coherent manner, so that students internalize them as part of their learning. Therefore, they might be isolated courses or topics treated as part of units with little or no relation among them, i.e., co-curricular topics are recurrent in the curriculum, in all levels.
Organization of contents and objectives spin around these topics as generators. Their contents respond to a social reality providing a holistic development for the students as well as the generation of a more solid society committed with the protection to biodiversity and the achievement of more freedom and peace. We use excellent materials to develop moral values. They include stories and a set of activities intended for each particular situation. Furthermore; an orientation course is offered in all levels aimed to reinforce our program on values.
