To the students of St. Jude School, I want to say, "Dream big. I always thought I could reach the moon if I set my mind to it. With effort and dedication, you can achieve whatever you set your mind to. It doesn't matter if you fail, the important thing is to keep fighting until you achieve it. Anything is possible."

At St. Jude School, we take great pride in preparing and helping our students achieve their goals, and just like Anapaz, we see them fly to any part of the world to fulfill their dreams and goals.

Anapaz Solano

Our alumna from the class of 2020 tells us about her journey to fulfilling her dream of studying abroad and entering one of the best universities in Barcelona, the Universitat Ramon Llull - IQS.

When Anapaz was 5 years old, she decided she wanted to follow in her parents' footsteps and study abroad. After many years of study, preparation, sacrifice, and discipline, she not only managed to get into the university of her dreams but also three more universities in other countries. In a few days, we'll see her depart for Barcelona to study Chemical Engineering. Her main goal is to produce environmentally friendly medicines and substances and contribute her knowledge to society on issues of health and sustainability.

“I entered St. Jude School in 5th grade and in 6th grade I began my process in the CASE-V program because it helped me combine my passion for dance without neglecting my academic progress. I also had the opportunity to participate in a Summer Camp at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, which not only allowed me to acquire new knowledge but also prepared me mentally and mature in many aspects, especially it showed me the reality of what it was like to be alone abroad. The IB helped me make the admissions process smoother and prepared me to face the admissions tests, as well as the accompaniment process I received from the school and the guidance they gave me. Without the school and the support of my parents I would not have made it.”

Guillermo Araya González

Our alumnus from the class of 2019 tells us about his journey to fulfill his dream of studying Mechatronics Engineering at the Monterrey Institute of Technology.

During his time at St. Jude School, Guillermo had the opportunity to participate in a camp at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, as well as at the MUN (University of Monterrey) and Space Camp. These experiences, along with other activities, allowed him to develop his personal and professional skills, such as living independently, cooking, and experiencing life in another country. Additionally, the rigorous International Baccalaureate Diploma Program allowed him to develop deeper intellectual skills and knowledge of college-level subjects.

His next goal is to return to CR and develop electric mobility projects, improve current technologies surrounding these vehicles, and promote their use to create a positive impact on the environment.

“To the students at St. Jude School, I want to say that you can achieve anything you set your mind to, but remember that dreams don't come for free; you have to work hard to achieve them. Don't stop fighting and take advantage of all the tools and opportunities the school gives you.”

At St. Jude School, we take great pride in preparing and helping our students achieve their goals, and just like Guillermo, we see them fly to any part of the world to fulfill their dreams and goals.

At St. Jude School, we take great pride in preparing and helping our students achieve their goals, and just like Monica, we see them fly to any part of the world to fulfill their dreams and goals.

Mónica Soto

Monica knew from a very young age that she wanted to become an educator. As she grew older, her dream grew stronger, and she worked very hard to achieve it.

Today, she begins her new journey at Camilo José Cela University in Madrid, offering top-notch programs where she will earn a dual degree in Education and Psychology. Mónica decided to complement her education program with a psychology degree because she wants the opportunity to get to know her future students deeply, focus on their personal needs, and learn how to help them when they need it.

Her next goal is to return to CR and open her own kindergarten, contributing her part to preparing the best students in our country.

Thanks to the support of her family, the IB Program, her academic excellence, her determination, and the academic support she received, she navigated the entire admissions process without a hitch and achieved her goal.

Mónica, a class of 2020 alumna and future educator and psychologist in our country, embarks on her path to success.
