Farmer's Week

16-05-2024

On May 15, we celebrated Costa Rican Farmers' Day, and this week at International St. Jude School, Farmers' Fairs were held in both preschool and elementary school.

This is an event that brings together the vibrant spirit of agriculture and community. It is a celebration of hard work and the dedication of our farmers. But above all, it highlights the importance of supporting local agriculture. Perhaps the most important aspect of the Farmers' Market is the sense of community it fosters.

It is an opportunity for students and families to connect, share stories, and forge lasting bonds. In an increasingly urbanized world, events like these remind us of the importance of staying connected to our agricultural roots and supporting those who work tirelessly to feed us all.
