Last Tuesday, August 15, we started our school year, where we welcomed our regular students and new ones. It was a great opportunity for our preschool, primary and secondary school directors to introduce themselves and guide the groups in what is going to be a new stage in their school life.

Our General Director Mary-Jo Gill introduced herself and motivated the students to always follow the path of excellence, one of our 5 values at St. Jude School. He made it very clear to them the path of Saint Jude of never giving up and overcoming adversity and that his doors would always be open for anything they needed.

We took advantage of the activity to introduce this year's seniors. Our Eagles paraded before the entire student community, introducing themselves to them and showing off their distinctive uniform. We know that they will fill us with pride and reach the top.

This beginning of classes was blessed by Priest Juan Francisco Escobar, who made a prayer to protect and place our entire St. Jude Family in the hands of God, which fills us with faith, hope and courage to deal with any adversity that may come our way. .

Our mascot, the great Viking, animated the party and all our new students were able to meet him. He is a very important and vital member of our school and we will see him here a lot throughout the year.

We know that this is going to be a school year with many emotions, challenges and beautiful experiences for all of us.
